It is not very often in a person’s lifetime that they will meet someone who will alter the path of their life.  I had the pleasure of that experience when I met Trevor in January of 2010.

I am a 40 year old mother of two who had spent the last 15+ years of my life being very physically unfit.  I was significantly overweight and very out of shape.  I decided to join the gym and see if I might be able to motivate myself into making a change.  This is where I saw the information for the “Biggest Mover” program.  I signed up and Trevor was the trainer assigned to my team.

Trevor was a tough trainer, but an excellent trainer.  He always gave good instruction and continuously monitored what we were doing, for proper form etc. and he was knowledgeable about which muscle groups were being worked.  It seemed he always knew how much we could do, which was usually a few more than we thought we could do, or even wanted to do.

The end result for me was a lot of weight lost and many inches gone.  My strength and flexibility has greatly improved and I am able to do things that I never thought would be possible for me.  I will be able to enjoy a lot more things in my life now.

The only regret I have is that Trevor is leaving for a new life in Norway.  If he had been staying here, I would have hired him to continue training me.  Instead, I will take the knowledge he has provided to me and continue on with my journey.  I wish him the best of luck in all he does and will never forget the difference he has made for me.

Hello, my name is Torleif. I am 17 years old and I live in Sandnes.

Before I began training with Trevor, my training was not as structured as it is now. I really had no plan for each day and I just did what I wanted to do when I got there. When I trained like this of course I didn`t have as much progress as I began to have when I started to follow a program. So my progress was not as good as it should be.

When I saw Trevor training I thought it was pretty weird, but in a good way. He did many new exercises I had never seen before and they looked very cool and interesting. It looked like he really knew what he was doing.

After some time with Trevor, I have gained both weight and muscles. I got more fit and I felt stronger than ever. I also feel that I have become mentally stronger after training with Trevor, and I have learned to push myself harder and give it my all no matter what exercise I do. I can also feel more progress now than before.

As I said I have gained both muscles and lean weight, but I also have a better conditioning now than before, which I think is really good. We do not only do exercises for strength, but also conditioning, and it is a nice mix of different things that we do.

If you want to be fit and have a badass strength, Trevor is your guy. While I have been training with Trevor I have grown in really everything, both physically and mentally and my training has never been better or more structured. So I would really recommend that you get in touch with this Badass American, you will not regret it!!

My name is Stacey Whittington and I recently participated in “The Biggest Mover” Challenge at the Bangor “Y” in Bangor Maine. The challenge lasted sixteen weeks which involved being assigned to a team and having a team trainer for two days a week for 12 weeks. Trevor Smith was my team trainer. He used various training sessions that involved interval training with free weights, resistance bands, steps, sandbags, calisthenics (pushups, bridges, planks, burpees etc.), and aerobics. On warm days we would go outside and do walking/running sprints up hills and use various equipment on a local playground for strength training. Trevor’s knowledge base and creative methods kept my team motivated and challenged. I was the overall “Biggest Mover” losing 21% of my body weight (40.8lbs, 18.5kg) in 16 weeks.

My Name is Rasmus Klausen, I am 20 years old.

The training program I used before training with Trevor was a very basic training program. Bench press, squat, deadlift, etc. For me it was not working too well, I got more muscles, but I was also trying to lose weight. The program I used didn’t work well for weight loss and I sort of gave up for a period when I didn’t reach my goals.

Then Trevor started training at GAK and my cousin (who started training with Trevor a couple of weeks earlier) recommended I try it. During the first couple of training sessions I did with Trevor I always thought: Dude this looks stupid and idiotic and we looked like some monkeys running around.
But I stuck with it because after each training session I felt good. I was dead tired, but it was a good if not a great feeling.

The training method  Trevor uses is very old school and we often use our own bodyweight in the exercises, but like many things the old ways is just as good, if not better.

After just a couple of weeks i started to feel a big difference. I got more energy, didn’t get tires as fast as I did before, the exercises became “easier” to do, my weight went down and the weights I used in the exercises went up. All this resulted in a much better mental toughness , I actually started to feel good and even great about myself. The problems I had  before training with Trevor started to fade away and life became easier, as I became more confident and began to move better. I still train with Trevor and will do that as long as I can, I’m in so much better shape and life is just great 😉

Before I started training with Trevor I was stuck in many of the exercises i used, I could not put on more weights no matter what I tried. After I started training with Trevor, that isn’t a problem anymore. The weights I lift are gaining all the time and I am strengthening my entire body, not just a few muscle groups. People are commenting all the time how they think i look so much better and have lost much weight since I started training with him.

I strongly recommend training with Trevor, not just because it works but because he is a great coach. He uses much time on making you do the exercises correct so you don’t hurt yourself in any way. If you have questions he always answers the best he can, and he is always driving you forwards.

Start training with Trevor down at GAK, you will never regret it, and it is a life changer.
