SHOULDER TAP PUSH UP

GOOD FOR:
• Learning how to do a Planche Push Up
• Building stability and control in your shoulder
• Putting on muscle and strengthening your joints
• Building basic body weight strength and core control

COACHING POINTS:
• Hands slightly pointed out
• Hands a bit past shoulder width apart
• BRACE HARD, abs, and thighs
• Push up, as you raise up take your right hand off the ground, and tap your left shoulder
• Do the same for the right shoulder
• Hold your hips and shoulders straight as you tap, very little rotation

AVOID:
• Rounding shoulders
• Rotating the hips or shoulders
• Dropping your hips
•Rushing the shoulder tap
